Job Description

We are planning to release a Korean version of our in-house developed and operated 3D dungeon RPG (fantasy world setting), and we are looking for a member to be in charge of all localization operations as a launch team member. Your main responsibilities will include localization project management, quality control, and coordination with related departments. - Launching and managing Korean localization projects, coordinating with external translators and LQA vendors - Managing and updating glossaries and style guides for the Korean version - Quality review and feedback of translation and LQA deliverables - Preparing localization materials such as system masters, image assets, and announcement texts according to operation schedules, creating instruction documents - Planning and proposing localization strategies considering Korean market trends and user preferences (especially appeal points in the fantasy RPG genre) - Coordination and information sharing with related internal departments (development, marketing, etc.) - Interpretation and translation tasks as needed (meetings, document translation, etc.) *Legal disclosure of the scope of job content changes: Job content may change in the future. [Required Skills/Qualifications] Japanese: Business level English: Not required Korean: Native level - Korean: High language ability and expression at native level - Japanese: Business level reading and writing skills, smooth communication ability - Practical experience in localization-related work in the game industry (project management, quality control, etc.) - Basic operation of Google Spreadsheets and Excel, knowledge of functions (VLOOKUP, IF, etc.) - Experience using task management tools - Experience playing mobile games, especially deep understanding of RPG and fantasy game content [Preferred Skills/Qualifications] - Experience launching game localization in new languages - Experience managing localization vendors - Experience and knowledge of translation support tools - Experience building and managing glossaries and style guides - Game development or operation experience (especially RPG and dungeon exploration games) - Interest in and understanding of medieval fantasy works and the game series IP you will be working on - Deep knowledge of Korean game market, culture, and trends (especially RPG fan base trends) - Ability to create official documents and content writing in Korean
