Job Description
Your mission is to enhance the development capabilities and technical skills of overseas subsidiaries, including training local development teams and improving development processes. Since our establishment in 2014, we have been developing features for Rakus' main cloud services such as Rakuraku Seisan, Mail Dealer, and Haihai Mail. Rather than being a subcontracted development organization of the head office, we work as one with the head office development team to carry out proactive product development. Business trips between Japan and Vietnam are frequent, and we have an extremely good relationship with the head office development organization, with full backup support. ●Post-hiring process Assignment: Vietnam For the first year after joining, you will work at the Japanese head office (mainly through development work) to thoroughly understand the vision, mission, values, Rakus development processes, service system configurations, and architecture. *During this period, there will be short-term business trips to Vietnam about once every two months (duration: 1-2 weeks) After that, you will be assigned to Vietnam to work as a local tech lead. *Housing in Vietnam will be treated as company housing. ●Specific job responsibilities after assignment Code review Engineer training (creating training plans, OJT trainer) Development process improvement (introduction and improvement of Agile practices) Technology selection, tool selection You will join local development project teams and lead local engineers as a coach and sometimes as a player within the team. ●Recruitment background Since the establishment of the Vietnam corporation in 2014, we have worked to improve engineers' technical and development capabilities through cooperation with Japanese engineers and mutual business trips. Productivity has improved and grown to a level comparable to Japan. We are recruiting a tech lead to improve the technical skills of local Vietnamese engineers. ●About technical skill enhancement Current technical skills are about 80%-85% compared to Japan. We aim to raise this to 100% to reach the same level as Japan. To achieve this, we believe that [1] overall technical skill enhancement, [2] development process improvement, and [3] upstream process capability improvement (design skills) are necessary. Specifically, we will strengthen the following areas: [1] Overall technical skill enhancement Architecture design skills, database design skills, performance tuning skills, technical information gathering skills, etc. Development process improvement Efficiency improvement in each development phase, introduction of Agile practices, document creation rules, tool selection, etc. [2] Upstream process capability improvement User understanding, business understanding, detailed understanding of application specifications and functions, etc. *As a tech lead, we would like you to mainly handle [1] and [2], and simultaneously develop training schemes to strengthen [1] and [2]. ●Attraction of this position Vietnam, which continues to maintain very high growth rates in Asia, has a young average age and is full of vitality and enthusiasm.
