SSW1 Sending Country List Expanded
Nepal, Myanmar and others added to SSW1 eligible countries; new MOUs signed to simplify application procedures.
Japan has continued to expand its list of SSW1 partner countries, with current MOU signatories including the Philippines, Cambodia, China, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Nepal. Adding Nepal and Myanmar enables workers from these countries to come to Japan through officially certified sending organizations, helping curb illegal recruitment fee practices.
